The Norrköping Symphony Orchestra offers a special music program for children where they can meet the orchestra's mascots, Philippa the Violin and Philip the Bassoon.

Every year for the past 80 years thousands of children from throughout the province of Östergötland have been invited to the De Geer Concert Hall to experience live classical music. Thousands of children listen to concerts with the orchestra, where anything can happen - experiments with sound, sing-alongs, or even street dancing to classical music. It has also become a tradition for the orchestra to work together with the students at Norrköping's music high school (De Geer Gymnasiet) to present an annual concert. The students themselves are in charge of the planning and realization of these concerts.
